You’re committed to helping your students and clients on their path of healing and growth. But you witness your people hitting a wall over and over again (and the tools you offer aren’t helping them move beyond those blocks).

What gives? Is there a gap in your tool-kit?

As a helping professional, maybe you’re supporting your clients become increasingly skilled at mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and emotional awareness.

Yet, you find that your clients continue to struggle with loneliness, relationship challenges, self-doubt, and difficulty trusting others.

Why? Because regulation and attachment are not the same thing.

In this workshop, we'll explore the often-overlooked gap between helping clients feel calmer and helping them feel securely connected. This is the key that actually helps people get long term, sustainable healing

Whether you're a meditation teacher/trainer, coach, counselor, psychiatrist, or therapist, you'll leave with a deeper understanding of how attachment shapes healing and discover practical ways to help clients move beyond coping toward genuine security, trust, and belonging.

Join us June 30th to dive into this topic!

In this workshop, we’ll explore:

⚫️ The Impact: How attachment conditioning and unresolved relational trauma shape the nervous system, relationships, and sense of self.

⚫️ Stuck in the Cycle: You'll learn why clients can master grounding techniques, understand their triggers, and still find themselves repeating painful relational patterns.

⚫️ The Missing Link: Through the lens of attachment repair, we'll examine what may be missing from traditional self-regulation approaches and how secure attachment becomes the foundation for lasting emotional well-being, resilience, and connection.

⚫️ How to Close the Gap: George Haas will share about the Mettagroup Method, which has helped over a thousand people get on the path of earning security and upending the painful patterns that once defined (and limited) their lives.

The patterns that keep us trapped are actually changeable.

Attachment healing is possible, and 90% of our clients at Mettagroup see radical shifts within 3 years of implementing the Mettagroup Method.

The quote is attributed to Chris Loar, labeled as a client.

Meet your Workshop Facilitator - George Haas,
Founding Teacher

George Haas is the founder of Mettagroup and a meditation teacher with more than 25 years of experience integrating contemplative practice, attachment theory, and developmental psychology. Since 2000, he has taught meditation to thousands of students worldwide, developing a unique approach that combines Buddhist insight practices with modern attachment repair methods.

George is best known for pioneering the Mettagroup Method, an innovative framework that helps individuals cultivate earned secure attachment through meditation, visualization, and relational practices. Drawing from attachment theory, neuroscience, Ideal Parent Figure Protocol, and the Buddhist path of awakening, his work offers a practical and transformative approach to healing relational wounds and fostering greater emotional resilience, connection, and well-being.

He is the creator of Mettagroup's Meditation x Attachment programs and host of the podcast I Love You, Keep Going, where he explores meditation, psychology, attachment, and personal transformation. George's teachings have helped establish attachment repair as a powerful complement to traditional mindfulness practice, supporting both personal healing and professional development for therapists, coaches, counselors, and meditation teachers around the world.

Over the last 40 years, he has accumulated this knowledge about how to heal attachment injury (through both learning and experience). His mission is to share this blueprint in a distilled, manageable way so that people don’t need to go through years of confusion and suffering like he did.

Within just 150 IPF sessions, studies show that you can go from insecure attachment to securely attached. That’s profound, swift results (we’re talking ~ 3 years). He spent most of his life (5 decades) exhaustively exploring all the wrong paths, so it’s his true honor to share what’s worked for him and hundreds of students, with long-lasting and life-enhancing effects.

The Key to Ending the Dysfunctional Patterns

At Mettagroup, we offer a reparative approach that combines attachment theory and meditation.
Here’s why.

Once you’ve gained an understanding of the concepts and differences between attachment styles, the difficulties you have in past relationships all start to make sense. This can lead to greater relief, and an opening to new possibilities.

Here’s how the combination works.
With meditation, we offer specific types of practices that guide in the attachment repair process. We then pair that with a psycho-educational approach to attachment theory. This winning combination is what has helped many of our students (including myself) earn secure attachment and end so many of the patterns that once held us back.

Oftentimes, my students can’t believe they’ve waited so long to make these connections.

But the good news is, it’s not too late!

“I'm better than I've ever been.”

“I just want to share, that it's been six years, a big journey, a big journey. But guess what? I've earned secure. Today I found out that I've earned secure. I know a lot of you won't know what that means, but some of you might. I got my attachment assessment inventory back today and I'm secure. I'm better than I've ever been.”

  • “Working with George Haas and Mettagroup was the best decision of my life. In under four years I moved from a highly disorganized attachment style to earned security. Now my days have a sense of happiness and purpose that I never thought was possible before. I’d recommend George to anyone.”

FAQs

  • Yes! If you can make it out live, we’d love to see you there. If you want to catch the replay, we’ll send it to you within 24 hours after the workshop, via email.

  • Attachment theory is an understanding of the instinctual drive to seek closeness to a caregiver who will provide protection and love, as well as support the development of your natural abilities.

By understanding this system, as well as your own attachment style (as well as the attachment styles of people in your life), you’re better equipped to act in secure ways, get your needs met, set aligned boundaries, and invest time and energy in reciprocally supportive relationships. This leads to having the capacity to live a more meaningful life, and to put your energy into your authentic passions, curiosity and purpose (and less energy in volatile relationships).

  • Commonly referred to as "mindfulness," Vipassanā meditation is focused on living more peacefully, compassionately and wisely. Derived from the Theravada school of Buddhism, the techniques are widely acknowledged as effective ways to manage pain, stress, compulsiveness and are often used in conjunction with psychotherapy.
